Join us on a beautiful May morning at Seven Islands State Birding Park! This event is designed for connection and conversation as we explore the rolling hills, riverfront trails, and teeming wildlife at Tennessee’s first state birding park. 🦅
We'll meet in the front gardens next to the barn before making our way across the bridge and onto the main island loop. We'll then circle the Seclusion Bend Trail that borders the French Broad River and stop for a picnic lunch before heading back to the main parking lot.
What to Bring
Lunch: Please pack your own picnic meal and plenty of water.
Footwear: Comfortable hiking shoes or sneakers are recommended.
Extras: Don't forget sunscreen, a hat, and perhaps a picnic blanket to sit on. We may be able to sit at picnic tables if there is space.
Whether you are a hiker, a bird watcher, or simply looking to get some fresh air with the YPK community, this outing offers the perfect blend of activity and connection.
