GET MORE HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH YPK!

Committees are the force that make all of YPK’s events and initiatives possible! Each committee plays a key role in providing quality experiences and opportunities and rely on members to make it happen.

By joining a committee, you can Connect, Develop and Serve.

Each committee is made up of individuals with a diverse array of professional backgrounds, and serving on a committee opens the door to building relationships with people who likely aren’t in your current network. By expanding your network in this way, you’ll discover that you have access to connections and professional opportunities you otherwise wouldn’t. Additionally, you’ll find your fellow committee members become your friends and you’ll look forward to seeing them at upcoming YPK events!

Serving on a committee also gives you the opportunity to develop new skills and utilize emerging talents. Committees allow you to develop a deeper understanding of what it takes to run a successful organization by being part of an operating nonprofit organization’s leadership. Implement your ideas and have a direct, immediate impact on YPK while helping us make Knoxville the most desirable city for young professionals.

By joining a committee, you will not only be able to help lead YPK into a brighter future, but you’ll also widen your network by meeting others along the way! Interested in joining a committee? Scroll down to learn more!
