YPK 101 - Introducing Young Professionals of Knoxville

Last night local Knoxville young professionals gathered for our signature recruitment event, YPK 101. Members of the Board spoke to the audience about what Young Professionals of Knoxville does as an organization, our history and values, and the benefits of joining YPK. We also got a chance to hear from a few members about why they joined Young Professionals of Knoxville and how it has impacted them.

Axle Logistics Voted 2022 Knoxville Top Workplace

Axle Logistics has had the honor of being named a 2022 Knoxville Top Workplace for the fourth consecutive year. The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

Hear more from the Axle team on how cultivating an award-winning culture has led to this coveted recognition:

Olivia McGowan

Axle Logistics has a fast paced, high energy office environment, where it truly is fun to come into work every day. We work hard to service our customers, and we are rewarded and compensated for our efforts daily. It is hard work with high reward. I am lucky to work here because I am constantly supported in my career and personal goals. They give me all the tools to chase my own success.

Chuck Munsey

Axle’s culture is unmatched because if you put in the work and do the right things, you will be rewarded no matter how old you are or how long you’ve been with the company. In everything we do, Axle understand that if you take care of the people, the people will take care of the business. Axle is fast paced and a high energy environment in which employees can experience highly engaging work and a collaborative, team-oriented culture.

Axle has provided my family and I an opportunity that I wouldn’t have found anywhere else straight out of college. Through this career, I’ve been able to grow exponentially as an individual in and out of the workplace due to the multi-faceted nature of the role. The path I’ve been given has allowed my family and I the opportunity to start building generational wealth for years to come. The best part about my current role is seeing Logistics Consultants under my umbrella grow as well through buying their first home, paying off debt, buying new cars, and engagement rings. There is no greater reward than seeing others be able to provide opportunities for their family through the same opportunity Axle has been able to provide me with.

Reed Holland

The culture at Axle is what makes it so great. Every day is filled with high energy. On top of that, I am pushed to be the best version of myself not only in my professional career, but personally as well.

After just graduating from the University of Arkansas this past December, this opportunity has pushed me to grow as a person. I have met incredible and supportive people, and I have learned how to carry myself not only more effectively around people I work with and clients, but also friends and family.

Anderson Olds

I love the true opportunities we have here to #BuildYourEmpire. Our professional and personal empires. It’s not just a statement. Most of my professional background has been community centered and working at a company like Axle, that truly embodies community involvement, has been a seamless transition for me. I can truly focus on building out my business, while staying deeply involved in the community with my own involvements or Axle-led community involvements. For me, that is huge. Openly having that mix of business and community involvements, and the comfort and security knowing that the company 100% supports it.
