Calling all YPK Members
Join us for Let's Do Lunch!
Join us for lunch as we discover what YP's can do to help battle the drug epidemic. Deborah Crouse, Media Relations & Project Director of the Metro Drug Coalition, will be presenting YP Community Solutions: Battling the Drug Epidemic.
In 2017, 316 individuals died of a drug overdose in Knox County. That’s 316 siblings, parents and friends. Addiction has no boundaries and can affect all of us in some way, shape or form. Metro Drug Coalition is a nonprofit organization with a vision to create a healthy and safe community free of substance abuse. Our presentation will focus on various topics that YOU want to know about drugs issues right here in Knoxville and solutions we as young professionals can be doing to fight this epidemic.
There is free parking available in the City parking lot off Williams Ave, or Meter parking available on Gay Street. The cost of this event is $10/person to cover the cost of lunch and drinks from Chick-fil-a. You may attend this event for free if you select the "Lunch Not Included" ticket, but outside food is not allowed at this location. YPK members and their guest are invited. Please register by October 4 to place your Chick-fil-a order.
Note: Vienna Coffee, located onsite, will have food and drink available to purchase. If you’re planning to order lunch from Vienna Coffee, please plan to arrive about 11:45 a.m. to place your order.
