Pull out your tacky sweater and join YPK for our annual holiday party on December 7th at the Southern Railway Depot. We'll be providing prizes for the best ugly sweater, so hit up the thrift stores now! We will have a photobooth on-site to capture your tacky look!
Parking is available at the venue, though you must enter from Central Street as Depot Avenue is closed for construction.
This event is open to the public, but please register in advance so we have enough food and drinks to go around. Drink tickets will be provided for YPK members and appetizers will be complimentary for everyone!
Members, register in advance to receive two complimentary drink tickets; members who do not register will receive one drink ticket at the door.
Please bring new, unwrapped toys, gifts and clothing for children of all ages, which will be donated to Helen Ross McNabb.
Bring new, unwrapped toys, gifts, and clothing for children of all ages for the Dear Santa program at Helen Ross McNabb Center.
For more than 15 years, the Helen Ross McNabb Center’s Dear Santa program has provided holiday gifts to children served by the Center. The Helen Ross McNabb Center, a not-for-profit provider of mental health, substance abuse and social services, understands the holidays become an extremely stressful time for people who have little in the way of financial resources and struggle to provide the basics of food clothing and shelter for their families.
Children in need served by the Helen Ross McNabb Center and their siblings receive donated gifts. Because many of the children have very little, their Christmas wish lists consist of items to meet basic, simple needs like a pair of shoes. Last year, the Center provided gifts and holiday parties to more than 1,500 East Tennessee children and families in need. This was made possible by individuals and organizations in the community who participate in the Dear Santa program.
