Serve: Volunteer with Young Williams Animal Center

  • Young Williams Animal Shelter 3201 Division Street Knoxville, TN, 37919 United States (map)

If you're an animal lover, this is the volunteer opportunity for you! We will be helping Young-Williams Animal Center with cleaning cages, landscaping in the garden, light cleaning inside, and/or assembling adoption paperwork. And, of course, oohing and aweing over the adoptable animals.

Young-Williams Animal Center is the official animal shelter for Knox County and the City of Knoxville.

They are an open-admissions shelter, providing sheltering service for both city and county animal control agencies. They also take in strays, unwanted animals, and surrendered pets from the public. No animal is ever turned away.

Their goal is to reduce the number of unwanted animals in our community through public education and an aggressive spay/neuter program, including low-cost and free options for qualifying pet owners.

As a nonprofit organization, they depend heavily on the support of the community.

If you would like to donate your time to help Young Williams Animal Center, RSVP using the button above.
